On November 18,  Dr. Leslie Xu from Shanghai office of Chang Tsi & Partners was named on the LexisNexis "40 under 40" Asia list for 2024. This recognition is a reflection of his individual achievements and Chang Tsi & Partners' commitment to providing top-notch legal services to its clients.

As head of Shanghai office at Chang Tsi & Partners and Second Grade Lawyer recognized by the Shanghai Justice Bureau, Dr. Leslie Xu spent over 10 years in intellectual property (IP) related practice and research. He is particularly skilled in IP infringement litigation and non-litigation dispute resolution, IP administrative and internet protection, domain name dispute resolution, and anti-unfair competition. He has helped many clients, including Fortune 500 companies and start-ups, to formulate comprehensive IP protection strategies and protect their IP rights in China through administrative and judicial channels. He has successfully represented clients in numerous challenging complex IP infringement lawsuits and won substantial damages for them. He also pays attention to Chinese enterprises' IP rights protection when going abroad and has assisted several Chinese leading enterprises in their investment projects in Germany.

As a Ph.D. in IP law and a postdoctoral researcher, Dr. Leslie Xu is also a German Chancellor Fellow, a Chevening LSE Fellow, and a recipient of international scholarships from the European Union. He also serves as an external expert for the China IP SME Helpdesk under the European Commission, as well as for government agencies in Nanjing and Shenzhen. He has conducted research at renowned academic institutions including the University of California, Berkeley, the Max Planck Institute for Innovation and Competition in Germany, and the University of Warsaw in Poland, published over ten academic papers in well-known domestic and foreign journals such as Intellectual Property, Science and Law, GRUR International, and Electronic Intellectual Property, and has been listed as a Global Leader by the World Intellectual Property Review.
