Representative  Cases

• Successfully represented ADQ to secure well-known trademark recognition of its marks, including DQ in Ellipse, DAIRY QUEEN and DAIRY QUEEN in Chinese in invalidation proceedings. 
• Represented the clients to successfully defend various non-use cancellations and invalidations initiated by its competitors and/or other third parties.  
• Represented the clients to secure sufficient trademark rights and copyright, obtaining favorable decisions in oppositions, declarations of invalidity and non-use cancellations against infringers. 
• Helped clients overcome the official refusal due to the absolute/relative reason by drafting innovative and persuasive grounds in many review of refusal cases.
• Provided overall IP protection strategy in trademark infringement cases; attacked the pirated mark and stopped infringement successfully by taking series of legal actions, including successfully persuading the copycat to transfer the pirated trademark to the client free-of-charge.
