In 2024, Chang Tsi continued to strengthen communication and cooperation with customs authorities across the country. On behalf of our clients, we actively participated in various IP training sessions organized by major customs offices. We attended training events held by customs in 9 major port cities throughout the year, delivering over 50 presentations on behalf of rights holders, providing substantial support for the border protection efforts of our clients.

During these training sessions, we deeply appreciated the crucial role customs play in combating infringement and protecting brands. Customs inspection officers, as the first line of defense against infringement, have a direct impact on the effectiveness of brand protection through their professional skills and brand recognition capabilities. Through in-depth exchanges with these customs officers, we gained insights into the challenges and needs they face in their daily operations. This information positively influenced the design and delivery of our presentations, making them more relevant to the officers' practical needs and easier for them to understand and remember.

To ensure the effectiveness of our presentations, we prepared detailed and targeted brand introduction materials for customs officers. These materials covered the brand's history, core values, product features, common forms of infringement, and straightforward methods for distinguishing genuine products from counterfeits. This helped the officers better identify brand products during inspections and increased their recognition and awareness of the brands. Additionally, we emphasized the global market position and influence of these brands, helping officers form a deep impression of the brands and understand the importance and urgency of protecting them. This heightened awareness enabled officers to identify potential infringements more keenly during inspections.

After each training session, we collect feedback from customs officers, then adjust and optimize the presentation content based on their input. This interactive approach not only enhances the effectiveness of our presentations but also strengthens our collaborative relationship with customs authorities.

As we have stepped into the new year, we will continue to actively participate in training sessions across various regions and we are committed to continuously improving and refining our presentation content. Through sustained efforts and ongoing innovation, we are confident that we can assist our clients in achieving even greater success in the field of border protection in 2025!
