Ron Tsi is an attorney at law and currently serves as the Head of the Business Development Department at Chang Tsi & Partners. Since 2015, he has specialized in the trademark field, with a primary focus on client relationship management and coordination of outbound trademark cases.

Fluent in Mandarin, Cantonese, English, Japanese, and Korean, Ron is able to communicate seamlessly with intellectual property professionals across the globe.

With a solid legal background in China, he has advised over 50 global start-ups on cost-effective IP strategies for entering the Chinese market. His clients span diverse industries, including a Canadian seafood company, a Dubai-based chocolate brand, and a U.S. skateboard manufacturer. Through extensive work with clients in high-tech, food, and pharmaceutical sectors, Ron has gained substantial expertise in managing IP matters not only in China but also across the U.S. and the EU.

Conference Involvement

Ron is a regular attendee of major international IP conferences such as INTA, MARQUES, and AIPLA. He has delivered presentations to Fortune 500 companies and university audiences, and is an active member of the MARQUES Unfair Competition Team, contributing strategic insights on IP enforcement and policy.
WIPO General Assembly (2023): Participated as part of the Chinese delegation at the 64th WIPO General Assembly, assisting leaders from CNIPA and CTA. Provided support in bilateral meetings with IP offices and international organizations, including simultaneous interpretation, schedule coordination, and post-meeting follow-ups.
INTA Annual Meeting Speaker (2025): Invited speaker at the CTA Session during the INTA Annual Meeting in San Diego, where he shared actionable strategies for protecting IP on Chinese e-commerce platforms.
International IP Education (2023-2025): For three consecutive years, Ron has delivered online training sessions to postgraduate students at PONS Escuela de Negocios in Spain. His courses cover trademark and patent rights, as well as the commercialization of IP in China.
