Over the years, Changtsi has maintained a strong relationship and close collaboration with various levels of Chinese customs authorities, particularly those at major ports/harbors along the southeastern coast of China. Changtsi has engaged in ongoing communication with these customs, actively participating in their IP protection training sessions, thereby aiding Changtsi’s clients in enhancing border protection for intellectual property.

On August 7th, Changtsi received an invitation from Xiamen Customs to co-host a training session.

Xiamen, located on the southeastern coast of Fujian Province, is a special economic zone, a pivotal city and port in China’s southeastern coastal region, a national logistics hub, an international shipping center in the Southeast, and a trade center for cross-strait exchanges. Xiamen Customs ranks among the top nationwide in terms of annual seizures, with confiscated infringing goods spanning categories such as clothing, electronics, industrial products, auto parts. In addition to freight channels, significant quantities of infringing goods are intercepted in cross-border e-commerce, postal channels, and market procurement channels.

The training session invited Changtsi to Xiamen Customs for face-to-face exchanges with frontline inspectors, aiming to enhance their awareness of IP protection. Through such training, customs officers are better equipped to distinguish genuine products from counterfeit ones, thus more effectively combating IP infringement in their daily work.

The training session lasted approximately three hours, with representatives from Xiamen Customs' inspection team in attendance. The training atmosphere was enthusiastic.

In the second half of 2024, several other key customs ports will also hold training sessions. Changtsi will continue to maintain communication with them and actively participate in such activities, consistently strengthening IP border protection for its clients.
